I hope this finds you well.
I am sure many of you, if not all, are following the recent news regarding COVID-19, commonly known as Coronavirus. To ensure the safety and wellness of our staff and community members, WE are handling this with the utmost care regarding all visitation, campus activities, non-essential travel, and communications.
By the recommendation of the Governor and the State of Ohio, we are cancelling all campus events. WE are asking all employees not to travel between campus locations and the corporate office. All essential vendors will be allowed on campus, but anyone not falling into those parameters will not be permitted to visit our campuses or corporate office.
WE will be utilizing the technology available to us to host remote meetings whenever possible. Additional communications and reference materials from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), and the Ohio Department of Health can be found on the OMH Employee App under Employee Resources.
Currently, our Western Reserve Masonic Community campus has our most stringent visitation policy due to geographic location and proximity to confirmed cases of COVID-19. Both our Browning and Springfield campuses will continue to monitor the situation and will modify accordingly per CMS guidelines.
A communication has been sent to all community members at our Western Reserve campus and will be delivered on both our Browning and Springfield campuses if needed.
WE will all be assigned a mandatory OMH Online University course through Relias which will cover our policies and CDC recommendations. Please be on the lookout for that course later this week.
All of the above recommendations and policies will be in effect until March 31, 2020 and are subject to change as the situation develops. WE will continue to monitor the situation and communicate with all staff and community members.
Please be sure to share this information with your staff.
Thank you for all you do.
